The First Winter
You remember how quiet everything became.
Cypress and dry gin cool into black currant and absinthe before settling into bourbon and butterscotch warmth.
The First Winter is built around transition.
It begins crisp.
Cypress provides a cold evergreen clarity while a dry gin accord adds an almost icy aromatic edge. Black currant and absinthe deepen the center before the fragrance changes direction entirely.
As it dries down, bourbon and butterscotch emerge.
Cold becomes warm.
Outside becomes inside.
What initially feels sharp and wintry gradually becomes dark, sweet and comforting against the skin.

Written From Ahead
It came earlier than anyone expected. By afternoon, the roads had disappeared beneath it. Plans were canceled. Someone found another blanket. The house became unusually quiet. For once, there was nowhere anybody was supposed to be.
You remember how quiet everything became.
How It Wears
The First Winter has the most obvious transformation in the collection. The opening is cool, green and aromatic. Black currant and absinthe darken the middle before bourbon and butterscotch create a much warmer drydown.
The contrast is the point.
